The Fox Valley Wildlife Center is a private, not-for-profit organization that cares for orphaned and injured wildlife. The FVWC is state and federally licensed, and is the only rehabilitation center in Kane County. We provide hospital care for wild animals who need help and have been impacted by man in some way. Our goal is to release these animals back into the wild because they deserve a second chance.

Though most often seen in his Ultimate Science Show, Mike Offutt is also a storyteller (taaaaaaallllll Tall Tales), banjo player, and bandleader. What's the Kitchen Band? Well, Mike brings all the instruments ... spoons, bones, washtub bass, bicycle horn, cowbell and other homemade instruments. He recruits his band from the audience ... and generally he "stays after" to accommodate the long line of kids and adults who want to try out the theremin (think Beach Boys, Good Vibrations). Age level, 2-10 years and families.

About Big Run Wolf Ranch:
Big Run Wolf Ranch is a federally licensed non-profit educational facility specializing in North American wildlife. We have been licensed for approximately 21 years and doing educational lectures for approximately 15 years.
Many of the animals here at Big Run have been rescued wherein the only other alternative was euthanasia. Although we have rescued many animals, Big Run's primary objective is education. Currently, we are unable to comfortably house any additional wildlife. We are in the preliminary stages of planning out our larger facility, where we will be able to provide homes for orphaned wildlife. Our plans include an on-site rehab medical facility as well as an 1800 sq. ft. on-site education center. With the continued generous support of the public, our facility will expand as funds allow.
John Basile, President, has held a USDA federal license and has been working with large North American predators for 22 years.
