18th Anniversary Civil War Days 2013 Reenactment

October 19-20, 2013

Civil War DaysOur Civil War event has grown to one of the best in the state! Over 500 re-enactors participate in this annual event. Relive History with President Lincoln, or General Thomas. There are live horses, booming cannons, and a spectacular battle scene! Come experience a piece of American History at our "battlefield." It's a weekend you won't want to miss!

Battle Times:

  • 2:00 p.m. - Saturday, October 19, 2013
  • 2:00 p.m. - Sunday, October 20, 2013

Be sure to arrive at least 1/2 hour early to walk up the hill to the Battlefield! The Battle scenes are the same on both days, so choose whichever day fits your schedule. Tickets are required for the battle (see below).

We charge a small entrance fee for the Battlefield Reenactment only. All other Civil War activities are free to the public. (We encourage online purchases by offering a discount.)

  • Online Purchase Price: $5 for adult (age 12 & older); $3 for child (age 11 & below)
  • Day of the Battle Price: $6 for adult (age 12 & older); $4 for child (age 11 & below)

  • Take I-80 to Minooka Exit 122 (Ridge Rd.)
  • Go south on Ridge Rd. for 4 miles (past Rt. 6 to the end of the road)

  • Farm is down the hill on the rightside
